09-Antalya - Kemer List

Take in the excitement & beauty of nature and the culture of Turkey. Enjoy a full-day off the beaten track in the Taurus Mountains. The adventure begins from Gebiz and goes on through the forests by unspoiled village roads and through small streams.

Starting this tour is a boat trip to Kekova Island. As well as being an area of outstanding beauty, the island is famous for its underwater ruins, with the relics of an ancient town partially submerged by an earthquake in the second century. While you're here, there will also be a be a short stop for you to swim in the sea. After lunch, you'll head to Demre, located on the site of the ancient city of Myra. As well as seeing some of the remains of Myra, including the amphitheater and rock tombs, you'll visit the Church of St. Nicholas, the saint who is better known today as Santa Claus.

You will be able to feel the uniqueness of sailing along the turquoise coloured coast and bays of the south-coast line by taking a dream trip on a romantic wood yacht. Our trip will commence with a trip to Kemer marina from Antalya.

Tour to Yanartas (‘burning stone’) is specially organised in the evening because it is more attractive to visit the flames of Chimera in the dark. A pick-up service is available from all hotels in the Kemer resort. You will drive to the tour start point and meet a guide there. He will give you information about the tour program and at 5:30 pm your safari tour will start.

Pamukkale/Hierapolis ranks among one of the oldest thermal cities of the world. The thermal water of Pamukkale has offered beauty and health to people since ancient times. However, the goal of this trip is the miracle of nature that is Pamukkale, which translates as Cotton Castle in Turkish.

Depart in the morning and visit Perge, the place where, most of the statues that are on display in Antalya Museum were unearthed. An important city of ancient Parnphylia, originally settled by the Hitites around 1500 BC. St.Paul visited Perge on his first missionary journey.
